WOMAN OF PRAISE

Psalm 1:1 “ Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly….” In the book of Exodus, chapter 1, Pharaoh commanded his midwives to kill every male child that was born by a Hebrew woman in order to stop the multiplication of the children of Israel in Egypt and created sorrow in their lives; but according to the scripture, the midwives did not do as they were instructed because they “feared God.” and consequently were rewarded with houses by God (Exodus 1:21).   In the book of Job, Job was advised by his wife to curse God and die because of the suffering that was imposed on him; but the Bible says that Job rebuked his wife for speaking like other foolish women (Job 2:10).  Job, who was described as a man who feared God, had enough understanding to know that cursing God was wrong. o    People who fear God have a good understanding of what is right and what is wrong in the eyes of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7). o    People who have good understanding keep God’s co

1 John 2:15-17 15  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
