Mark 4:39 tells us, “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.  And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Six days ago, before I went to bed, I asked the Lord what word should I bring to you this month?   The next morning as I was rolling over to awake the Holy Spirit said, “Worry.” So if you are worrying about anything, I want to remind you that you serve a God who loves you.  You serve a God who cares for you. You serve a God who does not want you to perish. He will fight for your soul to the last second of your life.    If you are worrying, you have fear, or feel jittery about anything I want to remind you that Jesus has the power to rebuke the wind and the sea and command them to be still. It doesn’t matter if the waves are beating against the ship and it is already full and you feel like you want to jump out or that you are going to die.   He has the power to deliver you from that and deliver you He will.
