WOMAN OF PRAISE

Psalm 7:8 The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.  9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.  10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.  11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.  12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.

Psalm 142:5 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. 6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.  7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

Sometimes Christian children feel left out in school. Sometimes they are faced with the temptation of wanting to be like the kids who do not have Christian parents. They want to dress like them, behave like them, and tell the same jokes as them. Sometimes they are unwilling to let their peers know that they are Christians who believe in God and His Son Jesus, so I always tell my children that they are highly favored and that they have been called to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. I let them know that they have something to teach their peers and that they should not allow them to teach them bad things. I let them know that when you have Jesus it is the greatest honor that anyone could ever have so that they would have encouragement along the way.
