WOMAN OF PRAISE

Genesis 16:4 “And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.” Too many times women come into a Church and despise the First Lady.  They envy her position.  They despise her gifts.  They despise her advantage.   They despise her marriage.   No amount of kindness showed to these women can change them from this evil mentality.   These women are the Hagars of the ministry.   They were called to bring forth Ismael; but they want to bring forth Isaac.   They were called to be servants but they want to be leaders.  They were called to help the first lady, but they want to replace the first lady.  They never learned how to treat leaders.   They never learned how to be a servant.  Therefore these women, like Hagar, need to be given a lesson in humility.   The online dictionary describes humility as a quality or condition of being humble or having a modest opinion or estimate of one’s own importance, rank
