John 3:3 “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” This scripture makes it very clear that the requirement for seeing or inheriting the kingdom of God is to be born-again. Therefore what does it mean to be born-again? Is it simply accepting the Lord Jesus and not doing anything else with our spiritual lives? If this is all it takes to be born-again everyone will get to Heaven, but you and I know that this is not the case. Therefore being born-again must be a lot more than many of us have come to believe it is. Jesus said unto Nicodemus except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God (John 3:5), and even though being born of water seems to be a powerless thing, when combined with the power of God it becomes powerful.
