HEAVEN

 Proverbs 21:21 tells us, 

21 He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Heaven is the only place that I know of where you will find life, righteousness, and honor altogether, and according to Proverbs 21:21 the only way to get there is by following after righteousness and mercy. 

When you consider the words “to follow after” it means to let these things be a guide to your life in order to inherit eternal life.  Mercy is a fruit of righteousness and without it, no one will inherit eternal life.  It is a qualification for getting to heaven.  

The word means compassionate or kindly forbearance shown to an offender, an enemy, or another person in one’s power.  It also means compassion; pity; benevolence.  

Romans 1:28-32 gives us a list of the fruits of unrighteousness and tells us of the judgment of God against all who practice such things in Romans 1:32, and one of the fruits of unrighteousness is to be “unmerciful.”  An unmerciful person can never inherit eternal life because to be unmerciful is not considered good in the eyes of God.  

Therefore, if you are pursuing the rights of your sister or brother you will never find life, righteousness, and honor.  

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and you would like to be saved and get to heaven and you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and that He is the Son of God.  Then repent and ask God to forgive you.  Confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.  Be baptized in His name. Receive the Holy Spirit and follow and obey Him.
