LOVING YOUR GOD - BORN AGAIN PROCESS STEP 3

Luke 10:27

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind….”

The third step of the born-again process is for man to walk in newness of life.  One of the new things he must learn to do is to love God with all his heart, soul, strength, and mind.  

When you love God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind you will do all what he tells you to do.  Whether it is hard or easy.  Whether it pleases others or not.  Whether it pleases you or not.  Whether it is convenient or not convenient.  You will always be careful to know that you are doing his will.  

Abraham had a son whom he loved very much named Isaac.  He and his wife Sarah waited for many years before they received this child.  One day the Lord asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, to him.  Abraham quickly arose and began the journey to sacrifice his son.

When Abraham got to the place of sacrifice, God told him not to hurt the child for God said, “Now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me (Genesis 22:12).  As a result of his act of obedience, God pronounced a great blessing upon Abraham (Genesis 22:16-18).

My little children, God rewards obedience.  He never encourages disobedience.  Never encourages lawlessness.  Never encourages hatred.  Never encourages lies.  Never encourages witchcraft.  He will never encourage you not to live an upright life.  He will never encourage you to sin.  

He wants you to walk in the fear of the Lord.  He wants you to keep all his commandments.  He wants you to love him with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.  Give him 100%.  When you do this it will move him to pronounce great blessings over you.
