DARKNESS HAS BLINDED HIS EYES
I John 1:11 “But he that hateth his brother is in
darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because
that darkness hath blinded his eyes.”
Hating
your brother blinds you and doesn’t allow you to achieve your purpose. It removes you from the path of light and
casts you into the broad way of darkness.
It throws you into a state of confusion and leads you into the way of
destruction. It limits your growth. It does not let you discover your purpose,
nor complete your purpose.
Cain
began to hate his brother after they both presented sacrifices to the Lord and
his brother’s was accepted; but his wasn’t.
He eventually killed his brother, was judged by God, and became a marked
fugitive and vagabond in the earth (Genesis 4).
Cain
should have put his pride aside and corrected himself. Getting it wrong the first time does not mean
that you will never get it right, but darkness prevented him! Lack of wisdom did not let him get it
right! Lack of understanding did not let
him get it right! Lack of knowledge of God did not let him get it right!
I
am 100% sure that Cain was not born to be a vagabond in the earth. His own actions made him a vagabond in the
earth. Someone who wanders from place to
place without any settled home. Someone who
leads an unsettled and carefree life.
Someone who has an uncertain or irregular course or direction.
Jeremiah
29:11 says that the thoughts the Lord thinks towards you are thoughts of peace,
and not of evil, in order to give you an expected end. God has an expected end
for you. It is that you will fulfill
your purpose in life and make it to heaven.
Do not let hatred of your sisters destroy this beautiful plan God has for
you. Cain did it, but you do not have to
be like him. You could learn from his
mistakes and thank God that mercy is still working for you.
Are
you struggling with uncertainty? Do you
feel as if you do not know where you are going?
Have you been having trouble putting your hands on your purpose? Do you feel that you are going around in
circles? One reason for this could be hatred
to someone. Therefore examine yourself
and make the necessary corrections, and while you are doing this do not forget
to pray.
Hear
the voice of wisdom today. Let her guide
you into the right way. She will never
lead you astray.
Grace and
peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God
