Proverbs 31:30 "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."

Fulfilling All Righteousness

Matthew 3:15.  “But Jesus answered and said to him, Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him (NKJV).”

One way we can fulfill all righteousness is by obeying the instructions of the Lord.   John the Baptist was reluctant to baptize Jesus because he did not feel he was qualified enough to do it.  As a matter of fact, John thought it should have been the other way around—Jesus baptizing him--but Jesus commanded him to do it anyway.

Sometimes in our walk with Christ, we are asked by God to do many things that we really don’t want to do; but we do it, according to Jesus, in order to fulfill all righteousness.   God wants us to be completely sold out for Him. He doesn’t want us to have one foot in the kingdom of God and one foot in the kingdom of Darkness.

He wants us to have the kind of zeal that the Apostle Paul had before and after he became an apostle.   Coolness wouldn’t cut it!  So my question for you today is, what is your attitude towards your righteousness?  Are you passionate about fulfilling all righteousness or are you feeling a little apathetic towards it?  Grace and Peace.
