Proverbs 31:30. "...But a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised."

  WELCOME!

HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR, YET?

IF NOT, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO SO TOMORROW.

Romans 10:9. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved!"

Acts 4:11-12.  "This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  v12.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Woman of Praise
by K. Michael

RUTH
The Book of Ruth
Ruth is the only woman in the Bible to whom the word “virtuous” was used, besides the Proverbs 31 Woman (Even though she is not the only woman in the Bible who did some virtuous things).  She was a Moabite with a lot of faith.  She is an uncommon woman.  She is a gem stone that fits perfectly into the crown of the Almighty God, and I believe that she is the quintessential Woman of Praise in the Bible, and she possesses a major quality of a Woman of Praise:  Kindness.
It was her kindness to Naomi that brought her into favor with God.  She gave up everything to follow Naomi, her mother-in law, who had lost her entire family while sojourning in the land of Moab.  It was also the word of her graciousness that was noised around the village where Naomi lived; that brought her into favor with her second husband, Boaz, to whom she also showed great kindness before they got married.
Ruth came from a country that was rejected by God in the Bible; but was translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light because of her faith.  Her faith in Naomi and the God she served coupled with her works, brought her to the feet of a great man.   Ruth did not lean on her own understanding; but she trusted a God she didn’t even know for a long time.  She demonstrated faith by following Naomi, not knowing what was on the horizon for her, and was rewarded by the God of Kindness.
God is a rewarder of genuine kindness, and yet it seems that true kindness is scarce in the Church let alone the world.  I’m not talking about kindness that is performed in exchange for something--that’s favor--and we know what the Bible says about favor--that it is deceitful (Proverbs 31:30).   I’m talking about a complete dying to self in order to please another.   Ruth left her country, her family, her friends, and her culture in order to be with Naomi while she herself was mourning the death of her husband.
Many of you would not have been able to do something like this unless you knew that there was something in it for you; but Ruth was not like this, her story is a rare case, and she is definitely a woman to be praised.  Proverbs 31:31.  “Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.”
Ruth did not go about sounding a trumpet or calling attention to herself that she was good to Naomi, as some people do.  She did not go about praising herself, as some do; but she walked humbly and allowed the God of heaven to honor her.   She did not do it for the wrong reason.  She did not do it to get fame.  She did it purely out of unconditional love, and that’s why I believe, she was lifted up even as Rachel and Leah were lifted up.
Whenever you do something for the wrong reason and you do not get what you wanted, it is nobody’s fault but yours; because you did not do it as unto the Lord.   You did it to get the praise of man and not of God; and sometimes your good does not always give you the praise and thanks of men.  Sometimes it brings a sword to your throat.   So the woman who is wise, does not do kind deeds in order to be repaid by man; but she knows that the God who is faithful will surely remember her because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).   A Woman of Praise is a woman of kindness, and she is one who lives by faith.

A PROPHETIC WORD FROM APOSTLE O. BAMKEFA, MY HUSBAND, FOR 2012

This year is going to be a year of restoration of all things that were lost, stolen, or destroyed for every child of God.

Grace and Peace.

********

A 2012 NEW YEAR PRAYER FOR YOU
I pray that this year will be the year that you go up a few more rungs on the ladder of righteousness.   I pray this year will be the year that you will conquer the demon of pride, and you will walk in complete humility.  I pray that this year will be the year that you will overcome the deceiver of fear and that you will know; that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.  I pray this year will be a year of reflection for you, for the purpose of giving thanks to the Most High God, and also for the purpose of correcting the wrongs in your life, and learning from the mistakes of the past.
I pray that this year will be a year of rejoicing in the victories and blessings of the Lord for you, and most of all, a year of appreciating Him for all that He has done and all that He will do, and trusting Him wherever you are right now.  You will not lack this year!  Your joy will be full!  You will walk in your calling! You will walk in your purpose!  You and your house will serve the Lord! You will be healed!   You will be delivered!  You will not be lonely!  You will be blessed! IN JESUS' NAME, AMEN!
