Proverbs 31:30. "...But a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised."

HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR, YET?

IF NOT, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DO SO TOMORROW.

Romans 10:9. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved!"

Acts 4:11-12.  "This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.  v12.  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Remembering Your Purpose
Part II
John 15

John 15:5.  "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing."

God expects His children to bear fruit in their lives that are suitable for the Kingdom of God.  He doesn't want you to be like the fig tree in the parable (Matt 21:28) to which He came and found no fruit, so He cursed it.  Fruit represent your purpose.  The fig tree's main purpose is to produce figs.  The apple tree's main purpose is to produce apples.  You, too, have a main purpose in the Kingdom of God, and if you are not fulfilling it, you are not abiding in Jesus, the True Vine.

John 15:8.  "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."

In order for you to bear much fruit, you must remain connected to Jesus, the Source of Fruit.  If you do not remain in Him, you will be cut off from the Vine, you will then shrivel up and die (you will die spiritually), and you will be useless in the Kingdom of God; for without Him you can do nothing.  Your Christian success in all things, is contingent upon you staying connected to your Source, Jesus Christ.  For if you do, the Bible states in John 15:7, that whatever you ask for, according to the will of God, shall be given unto you.

ABIDING IN HIM
So, how do you abide in Him?  You abide in Him by keeping His commandments and being obedient to all His instructions: both written and verbal.  John 15:10.  "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love."  John 15:11 states that He is asking us to do all these things so that His joy will remain in us, and that our joy might be full.  Fulfilling our purposes, as God ordained them, gives tremendous joy to every believer.

So, what really is fruit?  Ephesians 2:10 declares, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained, that we should walk in them."

When God examines our lives, He looks to see the kind of behavior in words, thoughts, and deeds that He is requesting from us through the Word of God; because His aim is for us to grow up in all things in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:15).  Therefore fruit is the evidence--evidence that we are connected to the True Vine, Jesus Christ.  Evidence that we are born-again.  Evidence that we are Christians.
Ephesians 1:4.  "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love."

God's goal and desire for our lives is that we should be spotless and without blame, and that we should walk in love.  Ephesians 1:12 cites that, "We should be to the praise of his glory."  This means that whatever we do, say, or think, should bring praise to His name and ultimately to the Kingdom of God; if it isn't, it is not to the praise of His glory.  If it brings shame, it brings blame to the individual, to the kingdom, and to God.  Grace and Peace.

Your True Worth
by K. Bamkefa

Last Mother's Day someone tried to estimate Mom's value when, in fact, her price is far above rubies.  Years ago, someone ascribed a worth of 30 pieces of silver to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; when indeed He's invaluable.  For what value can anyone assign to a man who gave His life for the entire world?  What worth can anyone credit to an individual who took the punishment for all humanity?  What value can anyone attribute to someone who left His glorified position to be humiliated for us all?  What worth can anyone attach to a person who was rejected, so that we could be accepted?

No value at all.  But sometimes in life, there are some who will never acknowledge your importance.  They will never see nor admit your quality.  They will never recognize the investment He made in you, and will continously make you feel like you are worthless.  But, you are not useless in the eyes of God because, you are His workmanship.   You were created by the Master Craftsman, and He is the only one who knows your true worth.  No one else knows it.  Thirty pieces of silver is a far cry from the real worth of Christ and so is their assessment of you.

So lookup!  Through all these things you are more than a conqueror.  Look up!  Because you have a lot to look forward to in Him: for eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for you.  Look up!  Because you have been made a little lower than the angels.  Look up!  Because you have been fearfully and wonderfully made.  Look up!  Because you can do all things through Christ who gives you the empowerment!

Isaiah 53:5.  "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

His Banqueting Table

John 14:27-31
The Bequest of Peace
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you, Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  v28.  Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you.  If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.  v29.  And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.  v30.  Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.  v31.  But that the world may know that I love the Father: and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do.  Arise, let us go hence."

I Thessalonians 5:1-7

"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.  v2.  For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  v3.  For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.  v4.  But ye, brethen, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.  v5.  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.  v6.  Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  v7.  For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night."

1 Thessalonians 5:8-14

"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.  v.9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.  v10.  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.  v11.  Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.  v12.  And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;  v13.  And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake.  And be at peace among yourselves.  v14.  Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men."
